Good evening and welcome to Brand X. And you're very welcomed to Brand X. I must confess I feel like a sports commentator with one of these things. And talking of sports, I understand we have to commiserate with the Glass Onion for their unfortunate baseball defeat of today. Or so I was informed. Sad. Anyway, back to the present, or whatever else you'd like to get rid of. That was a track called Disco Suicide from an album we have out called Morrocan Roll, over this way. (2) [moronic audience member say 'ay ya ya' in a truly moronic way] And, according to my little list, we've got to do another one from the same album, this time it's called Why Should I Lend You Mine.. (w/ laugh from Robin) Thank you. Back to sports commentating again. Is this working? Great. I can't really tell looking at it from here. It. (3) The next piece of nonsense we're going to blatter you with is a new tune that we haven't actually recorded on any of the albums as yet. So you're going to get a sneak preview. This was composed by the chief basher over there Mr. M Pertesquire. Whom the Washington Post claimed he was 'oddly attired', though I can't really see quite why. Still, you haven't seen him with no clothes on in the Holiday Inn hotel rooms. Hmmm... Well, we can't have the lights on because we've got a buzz problem on the guitar. That's why, if you're wondering why it's all gloomy up here. Anyway, this tune is called Deadly Nightshade. It's composed by Morris. So we'll see how much of a loon we can make of this. (4) Thanks. I think we'll have a bit of peace and quiet after that by doing yet another new one. Pardon me. We can't stop writing them, you see. It's our, it's our something or other. Anyway this new one is an inspritation of the brains of Mgrs Goodsall and Dennard here in stage center and their strange effects on people cause them call tunes like this Nightmare Patrol. (5) Before we blast through the last tune of this particular set, as this is our first through this part of the world, especially in Rochester anyway. We've been to Rochester, England but never Rochester New, New New York. Pardon my, there's something wrong with my lip tonight and it's not alcohol. We might as well introduce ourselves I suppose. You know the band is called Brand X but maybe you don't know who is in it. So before we go on you might as well find out. The gentleman hiding behind what appears to be a kit of parts for a Ford car that he's lost the plans for. He's going to build it one day. Is the gentleman from Scotland, Mr. Morris Pert on the percussion. Well he seems to be popular at any rate, so I'll carry on if this is going to win. Hiding behind the pillar, if you can see him, is a gentleman who I think you might have heard of somewhere before. He plays bass but in fact he's a full time furniture swallower. His name is Percy Jones. And, playing a somewhat melted drum kit after a smoke bomb accident last night in Toronto is, we'll he's got a T-shirt that says that but he's taken it off tonight, is the guest drummer for this tour, Mr. Kenwood Dennard on the drums. And wearing something rather strange that makes him look a bit like a creased communist tonight, is the guitar player Mr. John [John plays some guitar here] Goodsall. And, is this still working? It doesn't seem to be. Oh, yes it is. (6) We're going to do a tune from the Unorthodox Behavior album. Which is about literally the only one we can remember, but people seem to ask for it, so I don't know if you'll approve of this, but we wanted to do a tune called Nuclear Burn. Thank you.
